Screenprint Showdown

We are excited to be a part of such great event. We couldn’t pass the opportunity to work with great partners such as San Jose Made, Future Arts Now, and Content Magazine. We are currently tasked with running the Screenprint Showdown’s marketing and social media, Kooltura was also asked to design 50 San Jose Symbols (http://www.screenprintshowdown.com/symbols) to help inspire the Design Contest part of the event. Join us, January 30, 2016 as we celebrate a day of print.

See Artwork from the Design Contest

View submitted artwork from our Design Contest winners and finalists! The Design Contest asked artists, designers or anyone with a vision for what San Jose is today and what it could be tomorrow to create visual expressions of their San Jose experiences and submit them to the contest. The Knight Foundation awards each of these winners with $500 and Adobe extends these awards with year-long subscriptions to Adobe Creative Cloud.

Meet Authentic Imprints, Cukui, School of Visual Philosophy, & Silicon Valley Debug

We invited four San Jose Screenprint Teams comprised of a high volume print house, a local design and retail house, an independent art education and workshop and a community-powered organization to design their “What is Your San Jose” design and print them on-site at the event.

A lot goes into creating  a new logo, and I am always excited to go on the journey of creating something that my clients will like. After a few meetings with San Jose Public Library staff to identify the needs and vision for the project, my team and I were able to brainstorm ideas and direction. Here is an inside look into our creative process for the San Jose Public WORKS project.

KraftBrew Fest is a craft beer festival produced by Giant Creative Services and sponsored by Naglee Park Garage. This summer season was KraftBrew Fest’s largest production, pouring over 75+ American and International craft beers. KraftBrew Fest required extra marketing efforts to tackle new production challenges. With the efforts of Kooltura Marketing working as part of the core marketing team, KraftBrew Fest was able to develop more online traffic and event attendance through Facebook advertising, establishing new and reactivating current social media accounts, community management, and branding of marketing collateral which includes: postcards, programs, posters, banners, coasters, print ads, and web banners. As a result, Kooltura Marketing was able to increase Facebook Likes by 300 and drew out an attendance of 3k.
